The Anzac Memorial Centre is a unique site that was dedicated on the 100th anniversary of the liberation of Be’er-Sheva, which tells an interactive story of the Anzac soldiers and their conquest of the city.
The Centre contains archaic items, stories, evidence, testimonies from the Battle of Be’er-Sheva, personal diaries of the mythological cavalry that participated in the battles, historical findings, interactive tours, an impressive observation post at the British cemetery, and more.
The Centre was built at the initiative of the Mayor of Be’er-Sheva, Rubik Danilovich, in cooperation with the governments of Australia and Israel, the Be’er-Sheva municipality, JNF Australia, KKL-JNF, and the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
